Former Man Utd and Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is set to appeal the four-year ban that he recently handed after failing a drug test following a Serie A game against Udinese in August 2023.

The was made public by France national team coach Didier Deschamps during a recent press conference.

“I have spoken to him. Psychologically, it’s hard. The ruling was tough. He filed an appeal. So, there will be another judgement,” Deschamps said (via Football Italia).

“He will defend himself with all his strength. I don’t like to be definite about the future. Above all, I hope he can regain the pleasure of playing on the field and then find the France national team again.”

For now, it remains to be seen how the appeal process will unfold and what the future holds for Pogba.
