Former Liverpool star says Sancho will never play for Man Utd again

A former Liverpool star Stan Collymore in a recent statement has claimed Jadon Sancho will never play for Manchester United again.

Recall that Sancho made headlines after he hit back at Man Utd manager Erik ten Hag’s remarks and claimed he was being made a “scapegoat”.

This was after Ten Hag dropped Sancho for their 3-1 defeat at Arsenal last Sunday and cited the player’s poor attitude in training as the reason.

Although Sancho was named in the Man Utd’s UCL squad Collymore believes his career at Old Trafford is over and the club could look to offload him in January.

“His decision to criticise, and effectively undermine, his manager on social media wouldn’t have gone down well at all,” Collymore wrote in his column for CaughtOffside.

“I just don’t see how he could ever come back from it. I actually believe the Red Devils will look to offload him, either on loan or permanently, at the next opportunity. The whole situation is very reminiscent of Romelu Lukaku’s second spell at Chelsea.”
