Former Chelsea star John Terry has reacted to Frank Lampard’s return as the Blues manager.

This comes as Chelsea on Thursday officially appointed Lampard as the club’s caretaker manager for the rest of the season.

Following his appointment, Lampard had his first pre-match press conference on Thursday, saying, “I want to do the best possible role that I can impact the club in the best way in this period. After that, we will see what happens.”

In a tweet via his Twitter handle, Terry, a former Chelsea teammate with Lampard, sent his good luck message to the former England midfielder in his new job.

Terry tweeted: “Good Luck mate.”

Lampard will be in charge when Chelsea takes on the Wolves this weekend in a Premier League tie and he would to start with a win for the Blues.

The match comes after Chelsea’s goalless draw vs Liverpool on Tuesday.
