Manchester United captain and Portugal international Bruno Fernandes, while speaking about Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at Old Trafford admitted that himself and his teammates are in the dark.

Recall that Ronaldo was kicked out from Man Utd squad after he left the team before the end of their 2-0 win over Tottenham on Wednesday.

He was also not a part of the Man United squad that that played a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge after Casemiro’s late equaliser earned a valuable point in the battle for a top four place.

While Ronaldo is expected to return to boost the Red Devils frontline, his Portuguese compatriot Fernandes hinted that Ronaldo’s situation will be dealt with in house.

According to him, the players are not expected to talk about Ronaldo’s situation but keep it quiet inside.

He said the team is expected to deal with the situation inside and nobody else, not even the media has to know what is going on.

“So the most important thing for everyone, including Cristiano, is the team wins and I’m pretty sure of that,” he told Sky Sports.
