Ferdinand hails Man Utd incoming star from Chelsea

Former Manchester United star, Rio Ferdinand has praised the Red Devils’ decision to sign Mason Mount from Chelsea this summer.

Barring unforeseen circumstances, Mount, who underwent his Man United medical on Monday, is expected to arrive at Old Trafford in a of days was their latest player.

Recall that Man United agreed on a £55million fee, plus a further £5m in add-ons, to get the 24-year-old English midfielder to leave Chelsea.

Ferdinand in a statement said Mount’s imminent arrival at Old Trafford is a good move, as he added that he loves the England midfielder’s style of play.

Speaking on his FIVE YouTube show, Ferdinand said: “I think Mason Mount is a very good signing. He will be a valuable member of the squad.

“He is a good player, a top player, I love the way he plays football.”
