FA Cup: Liverpool suffer injury blow ahead of game vs Arsenal

One of the games to look out for this weekend in the FA Cup is between Premier League current toppers Liverpool and Arsenal.

Ahead of the match, the Reds manager Jurgen Klopp revealed his side will be without midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai for their FA Cup third-round clash at Arsenal on Sunday.

Szoboszlai is expected to be on the sideline for at least two matches with a hamstring injury.

Recall that the player picked up the niggle in the New Year’s Day win over Newcastle.

“I can confirm it’s not a potential injury; it is an injury. Muscle, hamstring. But now we have to see. Dom is very positive and doesn’t have a lot of pain, but we have to wait a little bit.

“So, no chance obviously for Sunday, not for Wednesday [the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg at home to Fulham],” Klopp said.
