Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella and his home country Spain have made to the final of the Euro 24 in Germany.

Spain qualified for the final thanks to a stunning 2-1 win over France on Tuesday night.

The La Roja looked like they would lose to France early in the game after Kylian Mbappe crossed for Kolo Muani to head in the opening goal.

However, the Spanish national team responded with two quick goals before the break.

The star of the match Lamine Yamal emerged as the youngest scorer in the history of the European Championships with a stunning equaliser.

Moments later, Dani Olmo saw his fierce effort go in off Joules Kounde, a goal that proved to be the winner.

Spain will now play against one of England or the Netherlands in Sunday’s final.

Winning the Euro 24 will be a big boost for Cucurella whose was close to being sold at Chelsea.

The former Brighton star had struggled at Stamford Bridge until towards the end of last season as the Blues managed to finish in the top six on the league table under former manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Cucurella will be hoping to replicate his top form at the national level when he returns to Chelsea for pre-season games.
