Manchester United player Christian Eriksen has reacted to the Red Devils’ recent defeat to Nottingham Forest.

The game saw Nicolas Dominguez giving Forest the lead before Marcus Rashford scored an equaliser.

However, Morgan Gibbs-White struck the winning goal in the 82nd minute against the Red Devils.

Eriksen was close to scoring on a couple of occasions in the second half but could not find the net.

We came here with the belief that we were going to get the three points, Christian told MUTV.

“I think in the biggest parts of the game we were in a good position to get the three points. Obviously the goals were tough, the moments we conceded, but yeah in the end zero points is not good enough.”

Man Utd will now have to focus on their next game against Wigan Athletic in the Emirates FA Cup third round.

Eriksen ahead of the match said the Red Devils mist stick together, keep focused and learn the lessons from the setback in Nottingham Forest.
