Following their recent 1-1 draw vs Everton on Thursday night, Chelsea would return to action on Sunday when they face Wolves in the English premier league.

Speaking ahead of the match, Chelsea manager and Germany international Thomas Tuchel has revealed he could be forced to do some crazy stuff during the game vs Wolves.

Tuchel, on Friday, disclosed that Chelsea midfield was facing a crisis with Jorginho and Ruben Loftus-Cheek both injured.

Also, Chelsea have been without Mateo Kovacic after he tested positive for COVID-19 last week.

This means Tuchel is left with N’Golo Kante and Saul Niguez as the Blues’ only deep-lying options in midfield, alongside the recovering Kovacic and Ross Barkley.

Tuchel told a press conference: “Jorginho is a doubt for Sunday as he is in pain.

“Ruben Loftus-Cheek is a doubt because he is in pain. Mateo Kovacic is back in his first training session today.

“We need to find a balance now as we have put everything on Jorginho’s shoulders. Ruben got injured yesterday, maybe we are forced to do the crazy stuff that we might not do.”

Chelsea will hope to bounce back on Sunday by winning all three points against Wolves.
