Chelsea will resume action in the Premier League this weekend when they face Crystal Palace.

Ahead of the match, Chelsea’s new manager Graham Potter has revealed two players to be unavailable for the match and they are Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga due to injury.

Potter also gave the latest update on Marc Cucurella and Carney Chukwuemeka ahead of the Crystal Palace clash at Selhurst Park.

“They [Mendy and Kante] are not available,” Potter said at his pre-match press conference on Friday.

“They are absolutely fine in terms of coming through the rehab stages. NG has been on the grass with the team but not really full training.

“Edou is a bit further on but hasn’t had enough to be involved at the weekend. Maybe next week for him.”

He added, “We’ve got a bit of illness with Marc Cucurella and Carney. Apart from that, everybody is fit.”

The match against Crystal Palace will be Potter’s first match as Chelsea’s new manager after he replaced Thomas Tuchel in September.
