Published

on

Chelsea will return to action this weekend as they move to Goodison Park to face Everton in the Premier League.

The Blues will be going to the match with a boosted confidence following their recent qualification to the last-16 in the Uefa Champions League despite the fact that they played a 1-1 draw with Krasnodar at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.

Chelsea under manager Frank Lampard have been spectacular in the Premier League this season as they currently seat in the top four.

The Blues could move to the top spot ahead of Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, who are topping the table by goal difference, if they defeat Everton on Saturday.

Lampard will likely start some of his best players to play against Everton. He has however revealed that they will be without Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi, who are both out on injury.

Christian Pulisic could make a return at the right wing as he seems to have gained back his fitness, while Timo Werner will take the left flank.
