Manchester United sign Real Madrid star

Manchester United have supposedly agreed a deal to sign Real Madrid centre-back Alvaro Fernandez.

The teenager, who essentially operates as a left-back, is accessible on a free transfer this summer, having turned down the opportunity to pen another deal at the Bernabeu.

As per report, Alvaro Fernandez is moving to Old Trafford, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side agreeing a four-year contract with the 17-year-old, who joined Real Madrid from Deportivo La Coruna in 2017.

The 17-year-old is probably going to represent Manchester United’s Under-18 side next season with the view to advancing to the Under-23s and eventually first team.

Luke Shaw is at present Manchester United’s best option left-back, while Brandon Williams has astonishingly made the progression from the academy to turn into a genuine challenger in that position of the field, the two players are not playing due to injury.

Barcelona are accepted to have been keen on the centre-back before he joined Real Madrid.
