Chelsea make breakthrough over deal for Bundesliga star

Chelsea boss Marina Granovskaia has purportedly made a breakthrough with Bayer Leverkusen over talented playmaker Kai Havertz.

There are reports in Germany that guarantee a breakthrough may have been reached as the two clubs are open to a deal which incorporates add-ons.

The report proposes £70m can be settled in advance, which was the Blues’ maximum limit and another £20m will be also be paid in add-on which is said to suit the two parties.

Chelsea have done early transfer business by signing Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech, the Blues still want to sign another centre-back and left-back this present summer’s transfer window.
