Deal Agreed: Man City star striker has accepted a new deal with Barcelona

With the commencement of the summer transfer window, a few weeks away, the latest reports have revealed that Manchester City striker, Sergio Aguero has agreed a new deal with Spanish giants, Barcelona.

According to Catalan outlet Beteve, it revealed that Barcelona have reached a personal agreement with Aguero.

The Man City talisman is set to leave Etihad Stadium when his contract ends in the summer transfer window.

Aguero will link up with his fellow countryman, Lionel Messi at Camp Nou with the hope of helping the Catalans gain back their hold in the Spanish La Liga.

The reports revealed that Barcelona hierarchy have tabled a €5 million-per-year (£4.3m-per-year) contract, which will keep Aguero at the LaLiga giants until 2023.

The Man City star arrival at the Spanish club would come as a major boost to the club’s president, Joan Laporta, as he continues to try and convince captain Lionel Messi to stay at Camp Nou.

This will be the second time Aguero will be playing in the  La Liga as he has previously played for Atletico Madrid.

Before his departure, the Argentine will hope to help M an City lift their first Uefa Champions League when they face Chelsea on the 26th of May.
