Chelsea willing to sell this player in January

Trevor Chalobah could be the next player to leave Stamford Bridge as recent reports revealed Chelsea are willing to cash in on him in the January transfer window.

After rising through the Chelsea youth ranks, Chalobah was away on loan at Ipswich Town, Huddersfield Town and Lorient, before he made his debut for the Blues in 2021.

Since making his debut for the West London side, the centre-back has gone on to make 63 appearances across all competitions, chipping in with four goals for the club.

He was linked with moves to German club Bayer Munich last summer but the deal fell through. The defender also turned down the chance to Nottingham Forest, ensuring that he stayed put at Stamford Bridge when the transfer window closed.

So far, Chalobah is yet to make an appearance for Chelsea this season due to a hamstring issue.

While injury has affected his start to the campaign, he is also behind the likes of Axel Disasi, Benoit Badiashile, Levil Colwill and Thiago Silva in the pecking order.

With the chances of getting game time when he returns from injury low, there has been speculation about a possible January exit.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said Chelsea will allow the 24-year-old to leave the club during the winter transfer window.
