Chelsea are in the race to sign Man City star Raheem Sterling this summer.

The Blues under Thomas Tuchel are keen on building their squad ahead of next season as they see some of their senior players bid the club goodbye this summer.

Sterling has 12 months off his current contract at Etihad Stadium but City would let him if they get the right offer.

A report via Sky Sports News disclosed it would require a transfer fee of close to £60m for a deal to be done during this transfer window.

Sky in Italy are reporting that Chelsea are confident of signing Sterling this summer, reporting a potential £35m offer for the player.

Tuchel is keen on adding a new player to his forward this summer especially as Romelu Lukaku has been linked with a loan return to Seria A side Inter Milan this summer.

Lukaku struggled at Chelsea last summer and is determined to return to San Siro.
