Chelsea will return to action on Sunday when they host Wolves at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.

Ahead of the game, football pundit Chris Sutton shared his prediction on how the game could end.

Recall that Wolves defeated the Blues in the reverse fixture which ended 2-1 back in December.

As of now, Chelsea sit 10th in the log table and two points above 11th-placed Wolves.

The two clubs head to Sunday’s match fresh off midweek defeats in the league, losing to Liverpool and Manchester United respectively.

BBC pundit Chris Sutton wasn’t impressed by what he saw from Chelsea when they lost 4-1 away to Liverpool earlier this week.

He has tipped the game to end on a 1-1 draw.

Chelsea simply have to respond after their defeat by Liverpool on Wednesday. I was at Anfield for BBC Radio 5 Live and they were so poor and a long way off Jurgen Klopp’s side,” Sutton told BBC Sport.

“With the money Chelsea have spent, they need to have a much better return than that and I think qualifying for Europe in some shape or form is probably their target from here.

“Mauricio Pochettino needs to deliver that, I think, but I am still not sure about them and whether they are up to it.

“I base these predictions on what I see, and I was painting a positive picture about Chelsea after the little run they went on before the Liverpool game. But Anfield was a reminder of where they are at and, as well as their defensive issues, they are not a free-scoring, nor free-flowing side.”
