Former Chelsea star, Craig Burley has advised the club to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen to partner Christopher Nkunku in the Blues’ attack.

According to Burley, the combination of Osimhen and RB Leipzig’s Nkunku will be a force to fear for many defences in the EPL.

This comes as Nkunku was said to be on his way to west London next summer and is only awaiting official confirmation from the club.

There are claims that Chelsea are targeting Napoli centre-forward Osimhen as they hope to strengthen their attack.

A report via 90min reported last month that Osimhen was top of Graham Potter’s wish list for the No.9 position.

Burley in a statement via ESPN said he loves the idea of an Osimhen-Nkunku strike partnership at Stamford Bridge next season.

“I think him (Nkunku) and Osimhen would scare the living daylights out of people… can you imagine,” Burley said.

“I don’t know if he would leave Napoli, but you’re not getting him until the summer at the earliest.”
