Chelsea are set to sell one of their midfielder temporally ahead of the start of a new season.

Recent claims disclosed that the Blues have changed their mind over Andrey Santos’ future at Stamford Bridge.

The midfielder who signed for the Premier League west London club in January last year, has been linked with an exit away from Stamford this summer.

However, Santos during his time at Stamford Bridge didn’t get to make his debut for the Blues.

Recall that the Brazilian spent the first-half of last season on loan at Nottingham Forest but was recalled having made just two appearances for the Premier League club.

He was later sent to French Ligue club Strasbourg, where he made a great impression.

During his time in the French Ligue 1, Santos bagged the Houng Player of the Month award in March.

Popular transfer expert Fabrizio Romano in a recent statement added that Chelsea have changed their decision to allow Santos to stay put at Stamford Bridge this upcoming season and will loan him back to Strasbourg for the 2024/25 campaign.

There are claims that the Brazil  player would not be a perfect fit for newly appointed manager Enzo Maresca’s style of play at Chelsea.
