Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, in a statement shared how he turned down a €350million offer to leave the club in the last summer window.

Recall that Ronaldo made headlines back in the summer after it was widely reported that he was keen on leaving Old Trafford for another club in other to play in the UCL.

The reports linked the 37-year-old to many different clubs, including Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Sporting Lisbon, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.

Ronaldo also received a stunning offer from an unnamed club in Saudi Arabia, which would have made Ronaldo the highest-paid player in history.

He has now explained why he decided to turn their approach down.

“It’s true, yes it’s true,” Ronaldo told Piers Morgan Uncensored about the €350m offer to play in Saudi Arabia for two seasons.

“But what the press kept saying, the garbage, is that nobody wants me, which is completely wrong.

“And I was happy here to be honest, I was motivated to do a great season here. But they continue to repeat that nobody wants Cristiano.

“How they don’t want a player who scored 32 goals last year, with the national team?”
