Chelsea target linked with move to Arsenal

Chelsea target and Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with moves to Arsenal.

According to recent reports, the Gunners are said to be the latest club seriously interested in signing the 37-year-old former Man Utd striker and are ready to make an offer for him.

Arsenal led by Mikel Arteta consider the former Juventus and Real Madrid star as the perfect short-term replacement for Brazil international, Gabriel Jesus who is out following knee surgery.

Tribal Football reported that the Gunners are trying to convince Ronaldo to remain in the EPL for the rest of the season.

However, Arsenal, who are the current toppers on the Premier League table this season, can’t match Saudi Arabian side, Al-Nassr’s offer for the Portuguese forward, but believe they can get him.

The Saudi Arabian club are the only side reported to have an offer on the table for Ronaldo and are said to be ready to pay €200 million a season to lure the player to the Middle East.
