Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O’Hara has fired at Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly for his poor form in the club so far this season.

Recall that the Senegal star who moved to Stamford Bridge from Italian side Napoli signed a deal in the region of £33 million last summer.

Chelsea signed Koulibaly as a replacement for the likes of Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger, who left on free transfers last summer for Spanish clubs.

The Blues brought in Koulibaly to partner with Brazil star Thiago Silva at the back. However while Silva at 37 has remained in top form, the Senegalese has struggled to replicate the top form he was known for in Napoli at Chelsea.

“They look weak in midfield, weak upfront. If it wasn’t for Thiago Silva I would say they were poor at the back,” O’Hara told talkSPORT.

“Kalidou Koulibaly – I don’t know what they have seen in him. because I think he’s miles off it. The rest of them, I’m not convinced at all. Bang average.”
