Chelsea summer signing compared to Drogba

As Chelsea continues with their struggles in a new campaign under their new manager Mauricio Pochettino, some of their players have stood out with their performance.

In a recent statement, former Chelsea player Scott Minto has said that the Blues new signing, Nicolas Jackson, reminds him of Didier Drogba.

Jackson moved to Chelsea from Villarreal this summer transfer window.

While the forward is yet to score for his new club, he has looked sharp in their two Premier League matches against Liverpool and West Ham United.

Minto was impressed by the 22-year-old and offered huge praise for Jackson.

“Do you know who he reminded me of in that first half? Didier Drogba. He was holding defenders off, running in behind. I was like, ‘Wow, this is a player,” he said.

Hopefully, Jackson will be available when the Blues face Luton Town this weekend.
