Chelsea have been landed a transfer blow by Man Utd, who have revealed the only condition that would make them sell their star striker Cristiano Ronaldo.

Man Utd have revealed they would sell the Portugal star only to clubs outside the English Premier League.

This comes after the 37-year-old was linked with a move to Stamford Bridge as it stands, the Blues have to look elsewhere.

Ronaldo on Saturday said that he will be seeking to continue his football career elsewhere as he is keen on playing in the Champions League next season, as Man Utd would be playing in the Europa League instead.

The Red Devils who had initially insisted that the 37-year-old was not for sale, ESPN now reports that they have changed stance and they now concede that they will have to entertain offers for Ronaldo.

But ESPN reports that the Red Devils will not consider selling to a direct rival and would let Ronaldo see out the final 12 months of his contract if the only offer comes from within the Premier League.

The club believes that forcing him against his will could be a bigger problem.
