Chelsea have suffered a new transfer blow as Everton midfielder Amadou Onana in a latest report has made his final decision on leaving the club for Stamford Bridge.

According to the reports, Onana rejected a move to Chelsea who are keen on bolstering Graham Potter’s squad before the end of the January transfer window.

The Belgian midfielder made it to Chelsea’s shortlist over his impressive display at Everton following his arrival from Lille last summer.

A report via Het Nieuwsblad revealed that Chelsea were confident that they can agree to a deal with Everton for Onana but the 21-year-old has rejected a switch to Stamford Bridge.

The Belgium international is reportedly focused on helping keep Everton in the Premier League this season.

The report, however, claimed that Chelsea are not giving up but could try to change the player’s mind, while a move to Arsenal this month could be more realistic.

Onana, who was valued at £33 million months back is now worth £50 million.
