Chelsea will this weekend host Arsenal at Stamford Bridge after the international break.

The Blues will be heading to the game against the Gunners after their impressive form before the break.

However, ahead of the match, Chelsea have suffered two injury blows as the Blues in a statement via their official website revealed that Carney Chukwuemeka and Trevoh Chalobah will miss the visit of Arsenal in the Premier League this Saturday.

The two Blues stars suffered setbacks in their recovery from injuries.

“Defender Trevoh Chalobah and midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka have both suffered recent setbacks in their bid to return from respective injuries sustained earlier this season.

“The duo will now go under further review before continuing their rehabilitation at Cobham with the club’s medical staff,” an official club statement read.

Chukwuemeka has not made any appearance for the Blues since he suffered a knee injury against West Ham.

Chalobah, on the other hand, has not played at all this season and is still recovering from a thigh injury.
