Chelsea forward Oliver Giroud believes the club can still join Liverpool and Manchester United in the title race and go as far as winning the league.

Frank Lampard’s team started the season on a good note winning convincingly as well as qualifying for the UEFA Champions League round of 16 unbeaten.

However, this past few weeks has not been the one they bargained for as they won just one match in five matches, losing three and drawing one.

Their bad form has seen them drop to sixth on the league table seven points behind the Merseyside outfit who are currently on form.

Giroud and his teammates will be kicking off 2020 with a battle against Manchester City and cannot afford to lose any more ground if they want to compete for the title.

Speaking to the club official website about their chances the world cup winner stated that because of the fact Liverpool is not flying like the two previous years Chelsea can join the title race and that’s his target.

Chelsea striker noted that the team has to learn from the disappointing results but they are not going to change their target because it’s very tight as he went on to reveal how much he want to win the Premier League.
