Chelsea star tipped to be the best right-back in the EPL

Former Arsenal and Manchester City defender, Bacary Sagna has tipped Chelsea’s Malo Gusto to be a success not just at Stamford Bridge but in the English Premier League.

According to Sagna, Gusto has the potential to be the best right-back in the English domestic league.

Recall that Gusto joined Chelsea from Lyon in a £26.3 million deal just over a year ago. He has played more than anticipated this season due to Reece James’ injuries.

The Frenchman has been impressive in recent games, exhibiting his dynamism, speed, one-on-one skills and all-round quality to become a crucial player for Chelsea.

Sagna believes that Gusto has all the potential to become the best right-back in the league.

“Gusto is dynamic, fast and good at one on ones. He was doing well at Lyon, and I am not surprised to see him shining at Chelsea because he has all the qualities to be an important player,” Sagna told Paddy Power.

“He has the quality to become the best right-back in the Premier League, if he keeps playing this way for a whole season.”
