Chelsea last match against Liverpool ended in one all draw but Thomas Tuchel had more to worry about when N’Golo Kante limped off the pitch.

Despite N’Golo Kante leaving the match early, he was on the list of players called up by France for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine and Finland.

However, the former Leicester City midfielder has been forced to leave the national team after the ankle injury was aggravated in training.

According to report from Julien Maynard, Kante has now returned to London where he will continue to receive treatment ahead of what will be a busy season for Chelsea.

The length of Kante’s injury is still unknown but the blues fans will be glad Thomas Tuchel was able to sign Saul Niguez on a season long loan deal.

Thomas Tuchel will now be giving the Spain international a chance on the bench as Kovacic and Jorginho will be allowed to partner in midfield.

Chelsea are still unbeaten in the Premier League and the blues fans will hope N’Golo Kante keeps fit in a bid to help the team fulfill it’s objectives.
