Chelsea may also be bidding goodbye to their captain Cesar Azpilicueta this summer.

Azpilicueta has been linked with moves to Spain and his future was expected to be clarified this week, having been rumoured to be on Barcelona’s target list.

As per Diario AS and other reports in Spain, Chelsea’s new owners have decided to honour the promise previous owners made to Azpilicueta about letting him go to the Catalans.

The deal is expected to be around €3m according to El Chiringuito.

As far as personal terms, Barcelona are set to offer him a two years deal with an option for a third, which Chelsea would not be able to give him as he turns 33 this summer.

Aside from their captain, Chelsea are will also discuss a deal for Marcos Alonso, who has also been linked with Barca.

The Blues will also use the opportunity to talk to Barcelona about their interest in Frenkie De Jong and maybe even Sergiño Dest moving to Stamford Bridge.
