Premier League side Chelsea have been sent a clear message over the pursuit of Brentford frontman Ivan Toney.

Chelsea have been linked with top-class forward this summer, and Brentford star Ivan Toney is one of the players that have been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

Thomas Tuchel’s team are reportedly eyeing Toney, who scored 33 goals in the Championship last season to help Brentford seal promotion.

Reports claim he has been identified as a replacement for Oliver Giroud, who left the club for AC Milan, and for Tammy Abraham, who has been linked with a move out of the club.

However, Brentford boss Thomas Frank has distance any talks of their star man leaving this summer as the Bees will compete in the Premier League for the first time.

Quoted by London Football News, Frank stated that he could understand how there is considerable interest in Toney but he is a Brentford player and the club have a long contract with him.

He noted that all of the players are fully committed to doing as well as they can in the Premier League, and Ivan is very determined to lift the team going forward.
