Chelsea have reportedly joined Man Utd in the race for Ajax winger Anthony this summer.

The previous reports had linked the 22-year-old with a move to Old Trafford where he would reunite with new Man United boss Erik ten Hag, but the report revealed the Red Devils are yet to meet  Ajax’s valuation for him.

Ajax are said to value the winger at around €80m (£67.8m) while Man United had offered €60m (£51m).

While Ten Hag is keen on adding Antony and current teammate Lisandro Martinez to his side at Old Trafford, a report via GiveMeSport suggested that Chelsea could swoop in to sign the winger before the Red Devils.

The report stressed that the Blues manager Thomas Tuchel to wants to add more attackers to his side next season, following the departure of Romelu Lukaku and the lack of goals from Kai Havertz and Timo Werner.

Chelsea already signed Raheem Sterling from Man City, and have been linked with moves for a winger this summer.

Anthony could be the right option for the Blues as he scored 12 goals and created 10 assists in 32 appearances across all competitions for Ajax last season.
