Chelsea returns to action today when then they played Southampton in the premier league at St. Mary stadium.

The game was a tough one which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Although new coach, Thomas Tuchel’s unbeaten run remains intact, the Blues however experienced some difficulties which he would have to work on before their next match.

However, in a post-match statement, former Chelsea star, Joe Cole has pointed an accusing finger at Chelsea player, Kurt Zouma during the game vs. Southampton.

According to Cole, he disclosed that Zouma switched off during the game

“I feel for Kurt, when you’re in the middle of a back-three you can sometimes switch off because there’s nobody to mark but switching off is exactly what he does.”

According to Cole, Minamino recognised there’s just an inch of space and he runs into it and he was able to help Southampton.

He, however hailed Cesar Azpilicueta for being able to put up a good defence.

Southampton scored the opening goal in the 33rd minute after Nathan Redmond split Chelsea’s defence with an incisive throw ball and Liverpool loanee Takumi Minamino.

The Blues on the other hand were saved following an equalizer from Mason Mount in the second half.
