Chelsea are supposedly not keen on signing Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero, as they remain enthused about alternative targets including Erling Braut Haaland all things considered.

The 32-year-old announced this week that he would leave Manchester City on a free transfer toward the end of the season, after making just 14 appearances in an injury and COVID-19-ridden year.

Sergio Aguero has proven himself as a goal scorer in the Premier League since joining from Atletico Madrid in 2011, becoming the highest scoring overseas player in the Premier League’s history, scoring 257 goals in 384 appearances.

Regardless of the Blues being enthusiastic about getting a striker for the start of next season, Fabrizio Romano reports that Chelsea are not presently hoping to sign the Argentina international.

It is recommended that Thomas Tuchel’s side are intending to plan for another high-spending transfer window, with Chelsea hoping to sign Borussia Dortmund forward Haaland.

Thomas Tuchel has had an effective start to his spell at Chelsea, who are presently fourth in the Premier League and through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League against Porto.
