Chelsea are allegedly leading Manchester United in the race to sign Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane during this current summer’s transfer window.

The France international remains a key player for Los Blancos, however the 28-year-old’s contract is expected to terminate next June, which has prompted a host of speculation encompassing his future.

Manchester United are supposed to be interested to sign the World Cup winner in the forthcoming market, and a new report guaranteed that Raphael Varane supported a move to the Premier League over a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

As per Mundo Deportivo, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are solidly in the race for the Frenchman, however Chelsea are presently at the top of the line.
