Chelsea kick Arsenal out of the race for Raphinha, submit mouthwatering deal Leeds can’t reject

Chelsea may be close to completing their signing of their first summer transfer under new owner Todd Boehly.

This comes as the report revealed the Blues are close to signing Raphinha as they and Leeds have reached a “full agreement” for the transfer this summer.

According to Italian transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, he claimed the official bid accepted is between £60m-£65m with add-ons included.

He tweeted: “Chelsea and Leeds have reached full agreement for Raphinha! Official bid accepted around £60/65m [add ons included]. Main part of amount to be paid immediately. It’s done between clubs.”

The latest bid by Chelsea has seen them kick Arsenal out of the race for the Brazil star.

According to the reports, Arsenal had an opening bid rejected but are expected to return with an improved offer.

Aside from Raphinha, the Blues are also in the race for Raheem Sterling with Manchester City expecting an offer for the England international

Raphinha moved to Leeds United two seasons ago and has 17 Premier League goals to his name.
