Ahead of next season, Aston Villa captain, Gabriel Agbonlahor has sent a message to Chelsea winger Mykhaylo Mudryk on his performance at the club.

Agbonlahor in his statement urged Mudkryk to up his game next season as he is now under pressure to perform at Chelsea.

Recall that the Blues signed the Ukrainian star from Shakhtar Donetsk during the January transfer window in a deal that cost them £88.5 million.

However, since he joined them, the Ukraine star is yet to score any goal but will remain at the club next season.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Agbonlahor said: “Mudryk, how do we know how he is going to perform this season? He needs to step it up this season. There is pressure on him.”

Before his transfer to Stamford Bridge, Mudryk was popular for his brilliant performance at Shakhtar Donetsk but he has been unable to replicate the same form in the EPL.

With Mauricio Pochettino now in charge at Chelsea, Mudkryk could improve next season.
