Chelsea in talks with Juventus for a swap deal for Lukaku

Chelsea are hoping to capitalise on Italian club Juventus’ interest in Romelu Lukaku to get a deal done for the Old Ladies striker.

The recent report that the Blues are in talks with Juventus over a swap deal between Lukaku and Dusan Vlahovic.

This was made public by popular football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on Monday.

Romano wrote on Twitter: “Chelsea are now back in talks again with Juventus through intermediaries— swap deal between Romelu Lukaku & Dušan Vlahovic has been discussed again.”

It is no news that Chelsea are keen on signing a new striker for their manager, Mauricio Pochettino before the summer transfer window closes.

Lukaku has already revealed his desire to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

With no plans for him in their squad next season, the Belgian was not included in Chelsea’s pre-season tour in the US.

Meanwhile, some Juventus supporters have protested against the club signing Lukaku, who was previously linked to Inter Milan.
