Premier League current toppers Chelsea have been handed a boost to their side ahead of their match vs Brentford on October 16.

With the international break currently on, the latest reports from Stamford Bridge has revealed that the Blues midfielder, and France International, N’Golo Kante, has finally rejoined the team.

The report revealed that Kante returned to Stamford Bridge for training on Friday after his coronavirus diagnosis forced him into isolation.

According to the reports, Kante has completed his period of self-isolation and has returned to Chelsea training with the view to returning to action for Thomas Tuchel’s led squad after the international break.

The French player was seen taking part in individual training drills at Chelsea’s Cobham training base as he is not ready to take part in the club’s main training sessions yet.

Recall that Kante’s positive diagnosis was revealed on September 28, when he was ruled out of Chelsea’s games against Juventus and Southampton, along with France’s Nations League matches this month.

He is, however, likely to play for the Blues when they face Brentford next weekend.

At the moment, Chelsea are seated in the top four on the log table ahead of the likes of Man Utd, Man City and Liverpool.
