Chelsea and three other clubs that can win the Premier League title

Former Manchester City star Sergio Aguero has handed a boost to four clubs in the Premier League as he stated that they still stand a chance of winning the title this season.

Liverpool are currently topping the table, having opened a six-point gap with a game in hand ahead of second place Arsenal.

Recall tuhat the Reds finished in third spot in former manager Jurgen Klopp’s final season and were expected to be in transition under Arne Slot.

However, life under manager Slot has been impressive, with the Reds maintaining their top form in the league.

Liverpools have only lost twice all season and also sit top of the UEFA Champions League.

Aguero in a statement admitted it will be “tough” to catch Liverpool, but stressed that the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and his former club Manchester City cannot be ruled out of the title race.

Arsenal are joint-second with Nottingham Forest, while Chelsea are fourth above Man City.

Aguero pointed out that to compete for the title, contenders have got to win as many matches as possible.

The former star also previewed Man City’s clash against Chelsea this Saturday.

He added that Chelsea are just another hurdle and beating them would be a massive boost for the Citizens.
