Chelsea advised to sign Napoli striker

Football pundit Clinton Morrison has advised Chelsea to make a move for Napoli striker and Nigeria international Victor Osimhen.

According to Morrison, Osimhen would suit Graham Potter’s side, who are currently struggling outside the EPL top four spots.

This comes despite the Blues spending hundreds of millions over the last two transfer windows.

As of now, the Blues don’t have an out-and-out striker at the club who’s at the level for them to compete for the Premier League title.

Chelsea signed Joao Felix on loan during the January transfer window, but there are no guarantee he would be there next season.

This could be an issue Chelsea solve in the summer transfer window, and pundit Morrison has suggested that Osimhen could be the ideal candidate.

“Victor Osimhen, the boy at Napoli, I do like. I think there are a lot of big clubs watching him. I think he could suit Chelsea,” said Morrison, speaking on Sky Sports, via HITC.

Chelsea would, however, need to qualify for the UCL next season to convince Osimhen to join them.

Looking at Chelsea’s current spot on the EPL table, they are likely to finish outside the top four this season.
