Former Man City star Shaun Wright-Phillips has sent advice to Callum Hudson-Odoi at Chelsea.

Wright-Phillips urged Hudson-Odoi to leave the Blues for another club if he wanted to be the best.

So far this season, the Blues player has not played in the Premier League, and there is no indication that he would be getting a chance to anytime soon.

With German side Bayern Munich ready to sign him if he decides to leave Chelsea, Wright-Phillips has suggested that the Blues player leave the club.

“I think whether he decides to realise his full potential or stick to being a fringe player is totally down to him,” Wright-Phillips told Metro UK.

He stressed that if Hudson-Odoi wants to be in and out of the team and play a role that he is doing now, then he should stay at Chelsea.

But if he wants to play regular football and show everyone why Bayern Munich was thinking about buying him, then he’s going to have to walk away and prove to people how good he is.

It is unknown if he would start for Chelsea tonight when they face Aston Villa in the Carabao League.
