Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi has in a recent statement said their 3-1 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford was “no surprise.”

The match against Man Utd saw the Seagulls claim a fourth straight win on Saturday.

As of now, they are now at fourth place in the Premier League table. It also ended Man United’s 31-match unbeaten streak at Old Trafford.

De Zerbi, in a post-match statement, said that they could have scored even more goals.

“Football is nice because the small team can win in every moment. I think Brighton is becoming a big team, but it is not a surprise. The quality of the players and organisation of Brighton is very high. I don’t know the problems of Manchester United, but I can explain my team. We are used to working in our style. We are playing with courage. We defended at Old Trafford, man to man all the time, and we kept the ball in every situation,” De Zerbi said.
