Manchester  City will this weekend host Tottenham Hotspur in the premier league in a game that promises to be exciting.

The Citizens seem to have gotten a boost ahead of the faceoff as Tottenham Hotspur winger, Gareth Bale will miss the match.

According to the Hotspurs coach, Jose Mourinho, he claimed Bale was missing because of an injury.

However there seems to be some issue surround this as Bale had taken to social media to post a message hours earlier as he stated that he was ready to play.

Mourinho in his response said the statement made by Bale was wrong.

Speaking ahead of Saturday’s match against City, Mourinho said: “Probably the post was not even his responsibility, but it was showing that the training session was great and I’m ready which was totally wrong. So when queI had to give the reality of things.”

“Mourijho in his statement said that Bale was not feeling good and asked for a scan which was done.

“The scan did not show an injury but his feelings were still there but as coaches, medical people we can never go against the player’s feelings,” Mourinho added.

Apart from Bale, Tottenham will be without Gio Lo Celso and Sergio Reguilon this weekend.
