Ben Chilwell leaves Chelsea permanently

Chelsea star Ben Chilwell has left the club this summer transfer window signing a permanent deal with their sister club Strasbourg.
Recall that the Blues signed Chilwell from Leicester City in 2020, which saw him make an impressive debut season at Stamford Bridge.
The English player scored on his Premier League debut, going ahead to become a regular in the Blues squad, making 42 appearances in all competitions.
He ended the season as a Champions League winner after the Blues win in Porto over Manchester City.
Over the next three seasons, the 28-year-old made 64 appearances for the Blues.
He, however, spent the second half of the previous season on loan at Crystal Palace, that saw the Sea Gulls win the FA Cup for the first time.
Announcing Chiwell’s exit, Chelsea in a statement via their official website on Monday said, “We thank Chilly for his efforts throughout his time at the club and wish him well as he embarks on a new chapter in his career.”
Chilwell’s transfer to Strasbourg make him one of the many Blues players who have joined their sister club either permanently or on loan.
