Azpilicueta and two other Chelsea player that could join Barca in the summer

Spanish club Barcelona are all out to sign low-cost defensive and midfield signings this summer, and they could include three Chelsea defenders, ESPN reports.

The report revealed that the Catalans had targeted at least five players, with three Chelsea defenders, namely Cesar Azpilicueta, Andreas Christensen and Marcos Alonso, included in the list.

While Azpilicueta and Christensen could arrive as free agents in the summer, Alonso still has one year on his current contract with the Blues and maybe the only one they could have to pay for to sign from Chelsea.

Barcelona seems to be going all out for low-cost defenders so that can sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

While Manchester City, PSG and Real Madrid are all in the race to sign Haaland, Barca president Joan Laporta is determined to ensure that the Dortmund star moves to Camp Nou instead.

There are indications that Haaland will leave Dortmund this summer when a release clause reportedly worth around €75 million kicks in.

The reports claimed that Laporta has already met with the forward’s agent, Mino Raiola, on a number of occasions over a potential deal.
