Aubameyang blasts Arsenal manager Arteta

Chelsea striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has fired at Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, adding that the latter is only good at coaching young players.

Recall that Aubamayang left Emirate stadium for Spanish club Barcelona in February after Arteta stripped him of the club’s captaincy and later demoted him to the reserve team.

However, after spending a few months in Spain where he helped Barcelona qualify for the Champions League, Aubameyang returned to the EPL, joining Chelsea.

Aside from Aubameyang, Arteta also had issues with Mesut Ozil, who also got a similar testament to the Chelsea striker.

According to Aubameyang, Arteta’s style at Arsenal can’t handle ‘big players’.

“I remember they [Barcelona] first called my father,” Aubameyang said, according to Metro.

“We knew the coach, Xavi, then he called me and said there is an opportunity because you have those problems with Arsenal, but if you come you will help us a lot, so I said, ‘okay’.

“But to manage big characters or big players, he [Arteta] can’t deal with it.

“He [Arteta] needs some young players, they don’t say anything, they listen.”
