Arsenal worried Chelsea could beat them to the race for this player

EPL club Arsenal are said to be worried about losing out on their bid to sign Moises Caicedo to Chelsea as his agents encourage the Brighton star to move to Stamford Bridge.

This is according to Football Transfers, which had previously reported that Arsenal were very confident about signing Caicedo after they had done most of the groundwork with the Ecuador star in January.

Arsenal were simply hoping to resubmit their £80m bid this summer, with Brighton now willing to sell the South American.

However, with Chelsea now in the mix, Arsenal have been left worried as they Blues are willing to splash millions on Caicedo in other to convince him to move to Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal have every reason to be worried as Caicedo could be another Mykhailo Mudryk for them, as they missed out on signing the Ukraine star in January after initially thinking a deal was done.
