Arsenal have been linked with moves for Brighton’s Moises Caicedo and Everton’s Amadou Onana as they hope to hijack the deals from their rival Chelsea.

Chelsea have seen two of their bids for Caicedo, 21 rejected last week, with the second bid believed to be worth around £55 million.

The Brighton midfielder wants a move to Chelsea, despite saying on Tuesday that he was ‘focused’ on staying with his current club.

Brighton on the other hand are keen on resisting any bids for Caicedo this summer, but keeping the Ecuador international in the long term may not be realistic.

This opens up the chances of Caicedo leaving the Seagulls in the summer and according to the Evening Standard, Arsenal will challenge Chelsea for the player’s signature.

The report added that Mikel Arteta’s side are keen on signing another Chelsea target Onana from Everton.
