Arsenal struggles last season have seen them linked to numerous players in the transfer window as Mikel Arteta aims to strengthen his side.

The London club are now set to raid their rivals, Chelsea, as they have reportedly identified their out-of-favour centre-forward Tammy Abraham as a summer transfer target.

Tammy Abraham failed to impress during the latter part of last season, losing his place under Thomas Tuchel despite scoring 12 times in 32 appearances for the Blues.

There are reports that he is not in the plans of head coach Thomas Tuchel moving forward and will be moving for a greener pasture this summer.

Abraham has been linked with a number of clubs, including West Ham United and Aston Villa, but Arsenal are willing to hijack any deal from the two clubs.

According to The Telegraph, Arsenal are showing an interest in the England international as they are eager to boost their options in the final third of the field.

With Abraham valued in the region of £40m by Chelsea, the report claimed Arsenal are willing to part with some first-team players in order to raise the funds required to sign the England international.

One of the players likely to depart Emirate Stadium this summer transfer window is Alexandre Lacazette, while Eddie Nketiah is also allegedly available for transfer.
